The U.S. Department of Education just announced a new competition for the Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education–Special Projects (FIPSE-SP) due Wednesday, December 3rd.
- It includes funds for AI education (including professional development for K-12 teachers) and for short-term workforce development programs.
- Awards can range from $600K to $4M for 48 months.
- Applications require a program evaluation that provides formative assessment of progress and summative measures of achievable performance targets.
If your organization is developing or considering submitting a FIPSE proposal, we invite you to contact us to discuss your project evaluation needs. We have extensive experience evaluating teacher professional development and preparation initiatives and workforce development programs, including apprenticeships and mentoring programs. We would be happy to collaborate with you to assemble a competitive proposal.
