Nisaa is a social psychologist with two decades of experience leading research and evaluation across the education, public health, non-profit, and broader organizational sectors. She specializes in participatory research methods, strategic planning and capacity building, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and data visualization to help programs, organizations, and departments make informed, equity-driven decisions. Her portfolio includes multi-year faculty development initiatives at HBCUs, STEM education evaluations, and large-scale projects funded by the U.S. Department of Education, National Science Foundation, and private foundations like Google. Nisaa is known for integrating culturally responsive and participatory approaches into rigorous evaluation designs, and she leads webinars and trainings on these methods. She partners with institutions to build performance measurement systems, support organizational development, and translate complex findings into digestible and actionable insights for stakeholders, including community members served. Her work has been published in both peer-reviewed journals and practitioner-focused blogs. Nisaa holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from Northcentral University, a Master’s in Social Psychology from San Francisco State University, and a B.A. in Psychology from Scripps College. She is an active member of the American Evaluation Association, American Psychological Association, and the Association of Black Psychologists.
