  • KQED Market Research

    REA evaluated pilot materials, including radio, TV and web content, and educational outreach workshops for QUEST, a series initiated by KQED in San Francisco. The unique cross-platform science journalism collaborative is designed to provide entertaining and informative content about current local issues in science-environment-nature, while engaging users in conversations about actions for these issues.

  • Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship Project

    In collaboration with Grunwald Associates, REA conducted a market research literature review to explore and forecast the role of entrepreneurship pathways in Career and Technical Education (CTE) programming.

  • George Lucas Education Foundation (GLEF) Focus Group Study for Edutopia

    REA conducted a series of focus groups for the George Lucas Education Foundation (GLEF) to support and extend the work associated with its Mott Foundation grant that produced the New Day for Learning report. The study’s goal was to explore reactions to the report and its implications for practice, as well as the value of various multimedia presentation formats.

  • University of California, Berkeley Museum of Paleontology (UCMP)

    REA conducted focus groups and usability studies to capture the potential instructional use of the University of California Museum of Paleontology‘s (UCMP) Understanding Evolution (UE) website. REA examined user profiles and usage patterns, reporting on the value that the web-based resources provided to users for teaching science concepts. REA also conducted market research for areas of further website development.
