Rockman-Fatima

Fatima has a background in policy analysis and program evaluation. She enjoys talking with people and looking at data to help our clients obtain answers to the questions that guide their work. At Rockman et al, Fatima has worked on evaluations for New Visions for Public Schools’ Urban Teacher Residency, Google’s Made with Code program, science cafés including at the American Museum of Natural History, and the PBS television series The Crowd and The Cloud. For these projects Fatima gathered and analyzed data from focus groups, interviews, and surveys. Prior to joining Rockman et al, Fatima spent four years as a fiscal analyst and Choice Scholarship program manager for the Indiana Department of Education. In this capacity she worked with school administrators on program implementation, conducted school visits to monitor compliance, and issued and reconciled student awards in excess of $115 million. Fatima earned her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Earlham College and a Masters in Public Affairs from Indiana University. While in graduate school, Fatima worked on education evaluation and research projects at the Center for Evaluation and Education Policy.
